Born in the UK Zinta also lived in France for a decade before returning to her ancestral roots in Latvia 20 years ago. Following recovery from her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2014, Zinta set up the Pink Train Foundation to provide support for other women in Latvia suffering from this disease. In 2019 the Foundation also started addressing the issue of breast health in general, organising regular campaigns, encouraging all women to care of their health with regular and routine check-ups. Their latest campaign received GOLD at the BalticBest 2020 awards.
