L. Tzivian holds PhD in Epidemiology and is a certified Epidemiologist and Head of epidemiological projects by the German Society for Epidemiology and German Society for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology. Lilian specialized in age-related processes, mental health, and quality of life. She is an associated professor, a head of Academic Master program in Epidemiology and medical statistics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Latvia.
Lilian acts as a coordinator/ principal investigator in several international projects related to quality of life and public health, such as “Quality of Life, Demographic, and Resilience Lab of the FORTHEM European university Alliance project, “Fostering institutional transformation of R&I policies in European Universities (FIT FORTHEM)” HORIZON 2020 project”, “Survival of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients in Latvia and in Israel: essential aspects of using a value-based health care (VBHC) – retrospective analysis” project of the University of Latvia.
Lilian is an author of more than 30 scientific publications in highly influential scientific journals and two book chapters.
