Prashant Shah is the Global Head of Artificial Intelligence for Health and Life Sciences (HLS) at Intel Corporation. He leads Intel’s efforts to develop artificial intelligence platforms with focus on medical imaging, electronic health records, genomics, and drug discovery. These AI platforms have been widely adopted across Health and Life Sciences industry.
Prashant is also an AI advisor to National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the All of Us precision medicine research program. The program is historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research, improve health and accelerate precision medicine.
For over 20 years, Prashant has played a transformational role in developing technologies for precision medicine. Prashant has a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a master’s degree in Computer Science.
Outside of work, he coaches robotics teams, teaches school kids AI and enjoys hiking and camping.
